Douglas A. McQuillan AIA
Doug was born in St. Louis Missouri in 1955. He
received his Bachelors of Architecture degree in
1981 from Kansas State University.
After graduating Doug did his internship with
Fisher-Friedman Associates in San Francisco CA.
Later he worked for Remick Associates Architect
and Builder in Piedmont, CA for 6 1/2 years.
After gaining great construction and design
experience it was time to move on and create his
own firm. Since 1988, Doug has been principal of
his own firm in east bay of San Francisco,
specializing in custom home design, new homes
and addition remodels large and small. Most
work has been locally in Piedmont, Orinda,
Lafayette and Diablo country club along with
other work throughout the state. Doug's
philosophy is to keep it simple and keep the firm
small for better control of the design and
construction process to provide a top quality
product.
